Established in 2008, Bio3 is a business venture based around the provision of access to a large modern category 3 biological containment facility and a team of highly experienced scientists with backgrounds in all areas of biosciences research and commercial biotechnology ventures.

Our laboratories are sited at BioPark, a science park for bioscience and healthcare technology business. BioPark offers facilities and support to tenants in order to assist them to grow and to develop new products and technologies. Opened in February 2006, this unique facility managed by Exemplas for the University of Hertfordshire, has been developed with funding from the East of England Development Agency (EEDA).
